US
Grace Lutheran School has been a thriving ministry of Grace Lutheran Church
for 24 years. Our school is unique in its offering of a quality, academic,
faith based pre-school, within a daycare setting. This programming allows
families with a variety of needs to select the schedule that is right

STATEMENT
OF MISSION & PURPOSE
“Changing Our World with Christ’s Love” is the mission
of Grace Lutheran Church and ultimately the mission and purpose of the
Grace Lutheran School ministry. We will provide a Christ-centered program
to nurture and stimulate the cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and
spiritual development of children in a safe, loving environment; support
parents and caregivers in their efforts; and be a resource in the community
for children and families in need.
PHILOSOPHY
We believe that each child is a gift from God with unique qualities. We
believe that parents are the most significant adults in a child’s
life.
GOALS
FOR THE CHILD
To help children understand God’s love and forgiveness through Jesus
Christ; provide opportunities to be with other children in a setting conducive
to the development of wholesome social relationships; provide appropriate
play experiences which contribute to the developmental needs of the child;
provide opportunities for learning experiences that are based on the child’s
individual needs, interests, special needs and abilities and that will
build important foundations for the future reading skills and other academic
pursuits.
GOALS
FOR THE PARENTS
To provide opportunities to meet with and work with other parents and
teachers; provide a safe environment while the parents pursue their own
work or other interests; provide opportunities to grow in their understanding
of child development through planned educational programs and experiences.
Support family-centered values through biblical instruction.
